It’s mid afternoon on a Monday morning and I’ve otherwise been pretty productive today I think most people would say. With help from my new personal assistant I was able to tidy up my house, did two loads of laundry, played with my son, worked on my product based business for about 2 hours, sent inventory to Amazon, cleaned out and re-organized a closet, got some clutter out of my house, had lunch with my son and husband, paid some bills, and put my son down for a nap. For the two hours that we worked on Cuchini a babysitter was with Hayden playing outside which he loves.
I’ve been basically procrastinating about what to do next. This is because I don’t have a set schedule and system of daily habits created for myself around building my online presence, getting famous for being me, and coaching other Rich, Hot SuperMompreneurs…yet.
What I’m used to doing after I put my son down for his nap is to work on Cuchini for about an hour and finish any tidying up around the house before I head in to take a short nap myself. I’m 5 months pregnant and usually don’t have too much help, so without (and sometimes even with) a nap I’m exhausted by about 6:30 pm and start to get impatient and annoyed with my son – which is absurd bc he’s 19 months old.
The reason that I think I’ve “needed” to nap though and why I was “short” with everyone and easily annoyed, is because I wasn’t fired up to be working on anything in my life really and what I was doing was avoiding any of the work because I was scared, sort of like today. I’ve probably been putting too much pressure on myself as well to hurry up and make something work for my coaching business when I just need to do what feels right for me and not worry about what it means, who’s watching/reading/listening, and where it is exactly going to lead.
The whole point of getting serious about my business NOW and taking it to existence and then to a massive level in a short period of time is that I’m ready and wanting to make massive shifts in my life and I want to make them a reality extremely quickly.
I don’t know or care about the HOW it’s going to happen, I just know that I’m going to #hustle and #haveasenseofurgency around each and everyday even when nobody is watching what I’m doing.
Because, even if one person is watching and is inspired to make a shift and change in their life then I’m doing what I’m called to do.
My mom and my friend both said that they were just motivated by me today via text when I told them what I was up to today! That’s an amazing feeling!
Why am I holding back my energy from another women then by not showing up and sharing my message with you all, I have no fucking idea except that I can’t get out of my own head long enough (that is until right now, today, the past few weeks, I’m over it) to realize that the only thing that matters in this is for me to share my message. It isn’t up to me how the message is received, who reads/sees/hears it, or what they do with the message when they do – my only responsibility is to take the information that’s given to me and share the message.
That’s your only responsibility as well. You have your own message that you’re meant to share with the world too – because as you know, there’s only one you. Don’t be selfish and keep your message inside, let it free, share it and you will feel freer for it.
Procrastinating around getting started with this blog post is my old habits and beliefs still trying to hold me back – but no more I say! Fuck Off old beliefs and habits – we’re making some swift ass kicking changes here and they’re happening right now!
What I did to finally just begin this blog post writing session now – which again is new as of right now for me – was to set an online timer for 25 minutes and to just go.
I was wasting time trying to decide what to work on next and I knew that a written blog post was one of the things that I wanted to get done today for sure so even though I was (annoyingly) resisting writing because I wasn’t sure what would come out and what I would say or if it would make any sense at all, I just did it.
I did it because it’s the commitment that I’ve made to myself to create massive change in my life I have to do things that are not in my current comfort zone. I need to #uplevelmyshit and create a new normal for myself. You can do this too.
The key for me is going to be planning out my day with a serious schedule that I just follow, simple. Just write out what you want to do everyday, then schedule it into a time on your daily planner, and here’s the hard part….actually fucking do the thing that you scheduled in for yourself – NO MATTER WHAT!

That’s what I can think of for now.
What’s a Power Hour? A Power Hour for me is an hour of up to 4 different areas of tasks that need to be completed but can be done in a real hour or in random 15 minute increments when you have the time.
For example,
15 minutes – return phone calls
15 minutes – check and return emails
15 minutes – read
15 minutes – sales email to email list
Within each 15 min span can be several smaller tasks such as returning a few phone calls or the 15 minutes can be spent on one thing only – it’s really up to you.
You can set up your power hour to be 15 minutes each of 4 parts of your business and/or life that need attention.
For example,
15 minutes – sales activities
15 minutes – social media
15 minutes – bookkeeping
15 minutes – graphic design
Whatever you want to accomplish in your business and life and this way if you have random spans of time such as waiting for an appointment to show up, waiting for your child to finish their after school activity, in between clients, in between meetings, in between phone calls, whenever you’re available you can still be productive in those time frames.
Now I need to decide roughly which time slots of my day each of the things on my list will fit and then the really hard part – actually taking action and getting the things done that you need to to create the life that you want to be living.
